columns are now free standing objects. it would be nice if we could make them integral part of walls as well.. so as to, for instance, be the support for 2 adiacent arches, or just a decorative feature of a wall rather than a support for an invisible ceiling.
to do this, the columns should have a toggle that makes them incorporeal so that we can superimpose them on walls or other features. (toggle because we still need them to function in their current status)...
by the way, in their current status, it would be nice if we could place some light fixtures on them, like torches and such.
There are certain objects like Fireplaces, lamp posts, and store signs that I'd love to snap the in the middle edge of squares sometimes but at intersections others. Having objects with more places they snap would be great.
Pillars with lights on them would be awesome. A hall of stone pillars with attached torches or braziers would bring a lot of ambience to certain themed rooms
Let us place shelves clipping into shelves in corners. (So it looks like a corner bookshelf)
Let us enter an optional no-clip mode where you can place objects close to and into other objects.
(In other build simulations no clip mode has enabled the players to build more realistically as furniture doesn't block close placement of other furniture)
Can this be merged with
"Finite positioning/rotating/scaling of all objects without AI"
as they are similar ideas.
YES!!!! I've run into water issues.
It would be nice if we could turn off the snap completely and move the objects to where ever we want.
I'd like to add the specific example of columns - a lot of modules have columns that snap to intersections to keep them out of the way of tokens. I'd love to be able to move my columns out of the way so they don't get in the way
It would be great if this could also include placing them "half in ground".
