This can probably be merged with dungeonalchemist.upvoty.com/b/theme-suggestions/coastal-terrain/
Additionally it might be good to differentiate seawater and water; seawater having waves and creating foam when colliding on a solid surface, might be a stretch but the amount of foam could depend on the angle of the surface the water collides with.
Good question - those of us that backed the project, what, over 2 years ago? are STILL waiting for the promised stretch goals while other projects are being pushed ahead and previous promises ignored.
I get wanting to satisfy the public, but those of us that helped lift the project up would like what we were promised.
Please do this, i need it for my ghost of saltmarsh campaing, and it is really the only feature that makes dungeon alchemist not my first choice at the moment.
I'd love to see the ability to create a ship on the Ocean with multiple layers to account to larger, Galleon-style cargo and/or warships. Also ShipWRECKS to explore on coastal tiles would be nice!
The ability to drop big sail ships. If you were doing a map of a port or something you may need a full ship instead of the smaller boats that is currently selectable.
I would like to input, that when it comes to customization, don't forget airship options, i.e dirigible balloons; I also want to see ship and airship wreckage.
I just hope with "customizable ships" you mean that we are able to build our own ships :) With sails, masts and rigging, hanging ropes, figureheads, rudder and anchor and so on. Because I don't exactly need prebuild ships, I just want to design my own xD
Adding ability to create ships or other large vehicle transports, such as airships or carriage convoys. For sessions that incorporate encounters on the move.
Waterfalls, with secret doors/caves behind them :)
Ships, boats, lighthouses, ports, ferrys, pirates, parrots, soldiers.
We need NPCs and animals. We need more life on the maps.
Ships, docs, lighthouses, etc. things that have to do with the water. It would be really cool for the future, when multi layer maps are a thing, to auto create a ship with different decks and rooms already pre made!
Similar to High Seas request, but for Harbors. Ships, Docks, Fish/ers, etc.
Also, currently to my knowledge, asking for "lakeside" in map configs does not allow for easily configured shores/beaches/etc in terrain options. If Harbor is selected as a map design, would be neat to pre-set the layout of the water line and then let the map generate over it.

Hopefully this might include the ability to manage the levels of liquid on the map. I’d love to see the ability to vary the levels.

Uh, unless your trolling, you can create ships with DA. Take a look at some of the creations.

Would love to see the ship building feature. I've spent a lot of time on my ship designs but they still require a lot of theater of the mind.

I think there is a lot of potential for this to hit it out of the park with underwater foliage and life of that nature.

Oeh that's an awesome suggestion as well! So you can make underwater maps :-o

It would be awesome to have the ability to generate scenarios of ships for ocean sailing situations, like the atack of pirates.
Aside of maritime items, it would require the ability to build ship based buildings.
