Modular stair pieces that we can piece together. This will help a lot for making different size staircases instead of dealing with proportional scaling. This can also help with wider curved staircases instead of the tight spirals we currently have.

Stairs seem complicated enough they almost need their own multi-level "room" feature rather than being discrete objects; where you can change railings, change stair material, etc... - along with if you could mark out each square the stair would encompass.
Like the other rooms, we'll end up wanting each individual piece as a separate object as well.
