In conjunction with weather, I feel like it is a huge missed opportunity to really showcase Dungeon Alchemist's use of 3D assets to not have 'wind' be a feature of the game. This would allow for maps to have a more pronounced visual video effect. The trees, rustling, plants swaying, fire leaning, water flowing, etc.. I understand now that the objects in the software aren't actually rigged with an interactive skeleton, and that this could take time, but adding this feature would bring an immense amount of life to them, more than they currently have. Please put this in so the maps can actually /breathe/.
I would suggest new weather - dust. Solved like snow. dust on objects would be nice. The strange thing about desert maps is that everything is nicely and freshly cleaned - not a speck of dust anywhere.
what would be great would be to be able to create zones with meteorological effects such as rain, wind-blown dust, snow or ash rain. The effect in a zone would differentiate the inside from the outside of buildings.
Hopefully this would be a simple one - it'd be nice if one could add different layers onto the map like one can add snow onto anything in one click. Good options could include ash, or an overgrown moss texture.
If you wanted to go further with this, it'd be amazing to be able to paint this overlay onto objects manually, so not _everything_ has to be snowy, ashy, or whatnot.
Add some stuff or feature to add fog in our map. That fog could move like water and stay inside room if there is no door open or windows. The best things would be if we can add colors to the fog, for a better magical ambiance with a violet fog in a room full of book.

Rain please.

Definitely would use this! Especially rain and snow. I like the suggestion for sliders for degrees of severity.

I am running Reign of Winter and would love to have animated maps with snow especially if you could control it from light snow to a snowstorm.

Wet mud and a wet effect on objects would be nice as well.

Dust would be nice, too. Or ashes, covering the objects and landscape like snow.

It would be nice to have these as effects with various settings.
Thin fog outdoors in forests, clouds below an island in the sky, a deep mist below a canyons edge.
Bret Devereaux
Frankly I'd settle for a 'snow' ground texture.
Gillian Helman
To pile on this, would be nice to see a wind feature that would move flags, trees, and signage around.

I was thinking seasons would be cool. So Winter adds snow, autumn and the trees have no leaves. Spring extra greenery etc.
Teppo Perä
Also fog with various colors
