I love the new feature to change the color of assets that has been previewed and coming with the next update.
Can we make this feature even more powerful with more color palette selection? For instance, different shades of brown, gray, black, white, beige, copper, silver, gold, etc. Different finishes too to give an impression of different fabric and material (leather, fur, copper, etc.). And also maybe different pattern options.

Yes, the 3 HSV sliders would be great. Even better would be transparency & glossiness

As others have stated, even if we can't get full color wheel, the ability to change Saturation would greatly improve and stretch the uses of the current colors.
The current color picker makes everything too bright!!
Another example colour picker (from QGIS) first tab has the H and S square and V column. Second tab another HSV variant (shown). Third tab is custom colour pallette (or loaded from a GIMP palette .gpl ASCII file). Fourth tab is an eye dropper that lets you select a colour from the screen.
Ideal world would be a combination of textures, plus this feature to allow objects to be covered with custom textures.
Particularly if it uses the same "brushes" as popular art packages so they'd be no need to design your own

The hue picker is fantastic but it makes everything so so BRIGHT.
A combined colour picker with Hue + Vibration + Saturation gives a wider range of colours and more natural possibilities.
IF possible, please, pretty please implement this

Absolutely this, my laptop's pretty "sweet" but I really struggle to get a decent amount of control there, "brown" is problematic too... and I kinda wish the Tone (black/white) "buttons" at either end of the slider could be used for Shading.

I saw that in Fata Morgana we'll have an RGB bar to color our stuff, and it's great! Pls, add a textbox under that so we can input RGB codes too!!!

So, I've noticed on the colour slider there's Black and White buttons that will colour the object, but would it be possible to use these to lighten/darken colourables?
