I would love to be able able as an option to add text to the map without the banner png that comes with it, because it hides too much of the map. Also. since it's only text and no banner to make it pop from the map, we would need to be able to change the text color (Namely a white text option for dark maps).
Let the DM add map notes about special features, room descriptions, etc. Impliment this with 'tokens' to make it even more dynamic so that you'll have things for the players to 'find'. i.e. attach a note to a chest and when the player asks about it, the DM can just open the note.
I would like to be able to lay some sort of text box on the same layer as the grid so I can label and number rooms.
Beyond that, I would also appreciate limited character text boxes to make my maps look like Durin's map from The Hobbit -- with riddles and notes in the margins: to personalize it a bit.

Room labels with Exportable lists and printing features
Alexander Evans
It would be great if we could add a custom label to each room and then export a list of the items present in that room. Great for users that build their map in the app but play on a tabletop. Also, an export as a top down map for tiled print at size for mini figures with options to turn off the floor and use only the grid. (With room labels on or off) these features would help dungeon alchemist be more useful as a tool for GM’s who run tabletop campaigns..
Under the Edit room (sub)menu, I suggest adding the optional "name room" feature, allowing people to name or number different rooms or areas, which helps identifying sparsely decorated rooms, or helps the DM referring to their notes. I would assume the chosen name or nr would appear as a text somewhere in the middle of the selected room.

It would be nice if I could label my rooms with their purpose (like "Great Hall" or "Guard Captain's Office").

I would like to be able to label rooms with names. Also would like to see more options of terrain for roads and paths.

Leave annotations on your map in progress for when you have to come back to finish it later, so you don't forget all your ideas

Add frontiers on a MAP. Writing the name of a region, of the title of a dungeon.

Some way to record notes regarding the map and how you want to use it.
