We need 45° walls as well. Ship building dos not work like this. I can not form a proper hull.
It would be great if you would keep working on that so some things like triangle rooms work as well. Or even different levels of curves on walls.
I like the Round Walls but it would be great if we had the ability to make them thicker or for there to be thicker options.
Additionally, it would be great if we had round walls matching all the various wall textures, at least the stone ones.

The new feature should do several things. Allow curved OUTER walls that will not require a rectilinear "pad" to place the curved section on the terrain, so the terrain is not chopped up into little square sections. I hate when I have to deal with a "pad" that sticks out from under the building. The curved sections could be sized to begin and end on fixed positions of the grid meaning fixed curve sizes - infinitely variable is not necessary. Curved walls should be an option for every straight wall section skin. Another nice feature is the ability to pick different width and height starting points which allow for elliptical curves such as in Dungeon Draft, but not necessary. I still would need to use Dungeon Draft for ships because of its ability manipulate curved walls.

I really hope that this includes diagonal walls and rooms too cause that is like a core feature to map making. And no, don't waste my time with placing each wall individually and making it diagonal. Literally takes forever and doesn't integrate well with foundry either, which is what dungeon alchemist is supposed to be able to do right?
I would say more: drawing free of walls, freehand. You should be able to do a rounded room, or with diagonal walls, or irregular. As long as you close the polygon, the AI should be able to add the fill to it.
thats something i need i do some pathfinder as a GM pathfinder is old and finding map is hard and most of the time its in bad quality so i recreate the maps in DA and round room is something very interesting
imo this should be merged with the post for diagonal walls. because being able to change the shape of a wall/room is damn near the same thing as being able to choose the direction of axis sits on, as doing one will always do the other.

I'd have no problem if AI was "downgraded" (e.g. just handling a sqaure part in the middle of the room) or even turned off for such rooms. The ability to make such rooms at all would make up for that.
rooms should have a handful of basic template shapes - square, rectangle, circle, and trinagle, as well as sections of those like half circles. once that is done then maybe more geometrically complex things like hexagons or octagons? That would be fun.
